The CSMS-B40/AC385 series surge protective devices(SPD) dedicated to the AC side of charging piles are in a high-resistance state under normal conditions, with extremely low leakage current, which does not affect the normal operation of the charging piles (stations). When a surge overvoltage occurs in the system, the surge protector conducts to ground within nanoseconds, limiting the amplitude of the surge overvoltage. Subsequently, the surge protective device quickly returns to a high-resistance state, thus ensuring the normal operation of the charging system.
