CSMS-PVT60/FM is a PT secondary grounding protector developed by Cresin. It is mainly used for overvoltage protection on the secondary side of voltage transformers to prevent high voltage from entering the secondary circuit and causing an increase in secondary circuit voltage, which could endanger personal safety and the safety of secondary equipment. It can also be used on the low-voltage side of transformers to prevent an increase in low-voltage side voltage when a breakdown occurs between the high-voltage coil and the low-voltage coil.
SCB addresses the safety issue where SPD should trip quickly when encountering dangerous continuous current during normal frequency operation or dangerous leakage current, and should not trip incorrectly when a lightning current passes through. This ensures the continuous effectiveness of equipment lightning protection and prevents SPD from catching fire.
